Purpose
  • To develop educational activities relevant to the needs and conditions of partner countries in the field of basic education through the subjects of Mathematics, Science, ICT, Vocational and Technical Education and Korean Language
  • To empower Volunteer Teachers' ability through their involvement and contribution to global education
Program Duration
  • Long-term: 1 year
    • Qualifications : Certified teachers at primary/secondary schools, graduates with teaching certificate for Primary/Secondary schools
  • Education Consultant : 1 year
    • Qualifications : Retired teachers and educational administrators
  • Short-term : approx. 4 weeks
    • Qualifications : Current college students or graduates with degrees in education
General Process
  • Finalizations of demands from the receiving countries(Apr.) -> Application reviews and selection of Volunteer Teachers ->
    Pre-departure training session -> Dispatch(Aug.~Sep.) subject to local(Jun.~Jul.) education system)
Selection Process
  • Post notice(Early Jun.) -> Reviewing applications(Late Jun.) -> Interview and class demonstration(Early Jul.) ->
    Selection of Volunteer Teachers(Jul.)->Pre-departure orientation(Late Jul.)->Dispatch(Aug.~Sep.)
Benefits
  • Living expenses, Educational activity fund, Round trip air fare, etc. (within budget)
